Work @Tailor (2023 — 2025)

Tailor is a headless ERP platform. The first Y Combinator-backed startup based in Tokyo.

At Tailor, I’ve worked as a Head of Developer Experience and Founding Design Engineer.

Leadership

Spearhead fully remote, cross‑country teams that unite engineering, design, and product disciplines. Turn high‑level initiatives into on‑time releases through tight cross‑department collaboration.

  • Led 3 international cross-functional teams with 15+ engineers and designers
  • Implemented strategic road mapping for major features across 3 teams
  • Coordinated effective collaborations between product, engineering, and design teams

ERP Applications (Omakase)

Answered Tailor’s demand for a composable frontend to its headless ERP, driving concept‑to‑release and partnering with engineering, and design teams to launch streamlined enterprise use cases.

  • Designed and developed the frontend interface for the ERP system
  • Created an intuitive user experience for complex enterprise operations
  • Delivered applications that streamlined business processes

Console

Built the developer Console from scratch, assembling and guiding a new cross‑functional team to ship deployment insights, live debugging, performance monitoring, and a local dev package.

  • Built and released the developer Console dashboard from conception to launch
  • Enabled users to view deployments, debug applications, and monitor performance
  • Delivered local Console package, which enhanced local developer ERP development experiences.

Branding

Led a company‑wide rebrand—from visual direction with a Paris design agency to cross‑team rollout—launching a new marketing site and docs that elevate our digital and physical presence.

  • Released a comprehensive documentation site
  • Executed major public website rebrand
  • Enhanced the company’s digital presence

And much more 👋
